BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Devils and ACHIEVE announced that ACHIEVE Broome-Chenango-Tioga will present the 2018 Binghamton Devils Charity Golf Tournament benefiting all the families and individuals served by ACHIEVE.

The Binghamton Devils Golf Tournament presented by ACHIEVE will be held on Monday, Oct. 8, following the team’s home opener on Oct. 6. The golf tournament will take place at the Links at Hiawatha Landing, 2350 Marshland Road, Apalachin, NY. The tournament will be a captain and crew format offering each team the opportunity to golf with a member of this year’s Binghamton Devils hockey team.

“We’re excited to be able to participate in this fantastic event for such a great cause,” said Tom Mitchell, Executive Vice President of Business Operations for the Binghamton Devils. “ACHIEVE does so much for families in this community and we’re proud to be a part of this tournament for the second time.”

Lunch at the course and registration will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Participants will be able to enter various competitions held in conjunction with the tournament for prizes, including a hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin contest. Following the tournament, there will be an awards ceremony and recognition dinner.


ACHIEVE Broome-Chenango-Tioga is a chapter of the ARC NY. It is the largest voluntary provider of services supporting people with developmental disabilities with a geographic footprint of 2,119 square miles across Broome, Chenango and Tioga counties. ACHIEVE supports over 2,200 individuals with developmental and other disabilities, and their families. ACHIEVE operates residential, day, community, recreational, and employment programs to support people with disabilities.
