BINGHAMTON – The Binghamton Devils announced today that the club has signed forward Greg Wolfe to a professional tryout. The announcement came from Binghamton’s general manager, Tom Fitzgerald.

Wolfe, 28, has 41 points in 45 games this season with the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye. Between 2015 and 2017, the Canton, MI native had two goals and an assist in 14 games for the American Hockey League’s Albany Devils. The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder has played in 23 AHL games with both Albany and Iowa. 

Wolfe has racked up 180 points in 219 ECHL games with Reading, Alaska, Adirondack, and Toledo. Prior to his professional career, Wolfe played four years at Michigan State University and served as the team’s captain his junior and senior year.

After two games this weekend in Cleveland, the Binhamton Devils return home Friday, February 15, and Saturday, February 16 against the Laval Rocket at 7:05 p.m. Friday is a Friday 4-Pack Night where fans get four tickets, four hotdogs, and four sodas. Saturday is the annual Heart Cup Game. Come watch Police and Fire Departments battle on the ice at 4:30 p.m. and get a special $16 ticket to the game that night to benefit American Heart Association.
