Binghamton, NY – The Binghamton Devils and ACHIEVE announced that ACHIEVE Broome-Chenango-Tioga will present the 2017 Binghamton Devils Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the families and individuals served by ACHIEVE.

The Binghamton Devils Golf Tournament presented by ACHIEVE will be held on Tuesday, October 10, in advance of the Binghamton Devils First Annual Miracles on Ice game Saturday October 21.  The golf tournament will take place at Endwell Greens, 3675 Sally Piper Road, Endwell, NY.  The tournament will be a captain and crew format offering each team the opportunity to golf with a member of the Inaugural Binghamton Devils hockey team

“We’re excited to be able to participate in this fantastic event for such a great cause,” said Tom Mitchell, Executive Vice President of Business Operations for the Binghamton Devils. “ACHIEVE does so much for families in this community and we’re proud to be a part of this tournament.”

Lunch at the course and registration will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.  Participants will be able to enter various competitions held in conjunction with the tournament for prizes, including a hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin contest.  Following the tournament, there will be an awards ceremony and recognition dinner.

ACHIEVE Broome-Chenango-Tioga is a chapter of NYSARC, Inc.  It is the largest voluntary provider of services supporting people with developmental disabilities with a geographic footprint of 2,119 square miles across Broome, Chenango and Tioga counties. ACHIEVE supports over 2,200 individuals with developmental and other disabilities, and their families. ACHIEVE operates residential, day, community, recreational and employment programs to support people with developmental disabilities.
